Due to the abrupt closing of the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams plants within our county, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office will be on site to provide security and assist employees in picking up their personal effects. Deputies will be at both plants from the hours of 8am to 11am on Tuesday August, 29th and Wednesday August, 30th. We understand that this is a difficult situation for everyone involved, and it is our hope and prayer that this will help the employees with some type of closure in this trying time.
