Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Announce Drug Arrests

After a lengthy narcotics investigation, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, North Carolina Probation and Parole, Hickory Police Department, Maiden Police Department, and the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, conducted an operation on February 11, 2026, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of illegal narcotics.
During the operation, officers seized approximately 257 grams of methamphetamine.

Jeremy Micheal Palmer, 40, of Taylorsville, has been arrested and charged with:
● Two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine
● One count of Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance
● One count of Failure to Heed Light and Siren
● One count of Driving While License Revoked

Kris Kordell Clubb, 57, of Taylorsville, has been arrested and charged with:
● One count of Possession of Methamphetamine
● One count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Clubb was released after posting a $25,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for February 16, 2026.
