Children who reach the age of 5 on or before August 31, 2022 are entitled to be screened for initial entry into the Alexander County School system for the 2022-2023 school year. Please attend the appropriate screening date for your child in the school district where you reside. Dates are as follows:
Bethlehem Elementary – March 29, 2022
Ellendale Elementary – March 25, 2022
Hiddenite Elementary – March 25, 2022
Stony Point Elementary – March 4, 2022
Sugarloaf Elementary – March 18, 2022
Taylorsville Elementary – March 10, 2022
Wittenburg Elementary – March 31, 2022
