Alexander County Resident Jailed

James Arthur Blankenship, 38 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Wednesday, December 20th and charged with felony probation violation. He’s is being held in the Alexander County Jail under a secured bond of $20,000 with a January 2nd court date scheduled.

Blankenship has previous pending charges in Alexander County for felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
