Alexander County Officers Arrest Suspects After Home Ransacked And Shots Fired

The following in a news release from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office

On May 17th, 2024, at around 5:51 pm, the Alexander County 911 center received a call of an armed robbery on Three Forks Church Rd. The caller also stated that they were following the vehicle and gunshots were fired. The caller continued to follow the vehicle. The suspect vehicle was stopped at Barrett Mountain Rd and Church Rd by Taylorsville Police. Deputies then met with the victims who stated that they were robbed of around $140 cash at gunpoint. The victim states the weapon used looked like a UZI pistol. Officers continued their investigation. A search of the suspect vehicle resulted in Officers locating a Mac 9 pistol. No injuries occurred.

Officers arrested:

Keelyn Page O’Daniel

Keelyn Paige O’Daniel, age 22, of Taylorsville, was charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Going armed to the terror of the people. O’Daniel was placed under a no bond. After a court appearance on Monday, a Judge set bond at $155,000. O’Daniels arrest was reported earlier by B86 Radio.

Audrie-Anna Marie Coon

Audrie-Anna Marie Coon, age 22, of Taylorsville, was charged with Possession of less than a half ounce of Marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Coon was released under a $1,000 unsecured bond with a first court appearance on June 24th.

Officers continued the investigation which led to the address of 765 Old Wilkesboro Rd in Taylorsville.

Investigators found the residence had been broken into. Deputies started an investigation of the Breaking and Entering. Video surveillance at the residence showed a picture of the victim’s vehicle of the Armed Robbery from earlier that day. The residence had been ransacked and property had been taken. Officers located the suspect vehicle involved in the Breaking and Entering, and it was stopped just outside of Taylorsville on Hwy 90 West. Officers found the stolen property that was taken during the Breaking and Entering.

Officers arrested:

Justin Lee Pope

Justin Lee Pope, age 22 of Taylorsville, was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Injury to personal property, and Injury to real property. Pope was placed under a $75,000 secured bond with a first court appearance on May 20th.

Emily Dawn Bostian

Emily Dawn Bostian , age 21 of Hiddenite, was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Injury to personal property, and Injury to real property. Pope was placed under a $7,500 secured bond with a first court appearance on May 20th.

Bryan David Hall

Bryan David Hall, age 23 of Stony Point is charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Injury to personal property and Injury to real property. Hall was placed in custody on Tuesday.

The investigation shows that both the Armed Robbery and the Breaking and Entering cases are related to each other. The investigation into both cases is still ongoing and more arrests are forthcoming.
