Alexander County Narcotics Officers Make Bust

Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested a couple and charged them with multiple offenses on Monday.

Willie Antron Hampton, age 41 of Statesville is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver fentanyl, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hampton is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center and is scheduled to make a court appearance in Taylorsville on July 29th.

Hampton has previous charges that are pending in Catawba County. He’s charged there with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. His next court date is Newton is scheduled for September 3rd.

Seneca Dempsey, age 41 of Taylorsville is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver fentanyl, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dempsey remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond and is also scheduled for District Court on July 29th.

Dempsey has a number of previous charges awaiting trial in Alexander County including felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises. Those charges are scheduled for Superior Court on September 16. Dempsey has misdemeanor charges pending that include second-degree trespassing, shoplifting and a series of traffic-related citations.
