Alexander County Men Arrested During Wednesday Operation

On Wednesday, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, Taylorsville Police and the Alexander County Office of Probation and Parole conducted an operation and made the following arrests.

Mason Timothy Bruner, age 23 of Taylorsville, is charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance (fentanyl) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bruner was released from prison in November, 2024 after serving 3 months for possession of schedule I controlled substance. He’s being held under a secured bond of $7,500 and has a court appearance scheduled for Monday, March 10th.

William Cody Blevins, age 29 of Stony Point, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s being held under a $10,000 secured bond and scheduled to make a District Court appearance on Monday, March 10th.

Blevins has previous charges awaiting trial from 2024 that include felony trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A Superior Court appearance on those charges is scheduled in Taylorsville on March 17th.

In Davie County, Blevins has charges pending from 2024 that include felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance and possession schedule III controlled substance. A Mocksville court date is listed for March 20th.

Christopher Lynn Bailey, age 51 of Taylorsville, is charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday, March 10th. A 2022 charge is pending against Bailey for felony possession of methamphetamine and felony probation violation. Those charges are scheduled for Superior Court on March 17th.
