An Alexander County man is still missing after last being seen in Eastern North Carolina almost two weeks ago. Authorities are searching for Paul Milton Simms, age 23. Simms is a white male, 6-feet-1-inches tall, weighing 185 pounds. He has blue eyes and long brown hair. Anyone with information on Simm’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sunset Beach Police Department at 910-253-7490.
According to a Silver Alert issued, Simms is believed to be suffering from dementia or a cognitive impairment. According to information from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation is being coordinated by the Sunset Beach Police Department. Numerous searches have been conducted locally as well as in Eastern North Carolina
