Alexander Christopher Elder, age 30 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. He’s charged with assault-inflicting serious bodily injury. As of earlier today Elder remained in the county detention center under a secured bond of $5.000.
