Probation and Parole Officers in Alexander County arrested Carlos Daniel Ortiz, age 25 of falcon Lane, Hiddenite, on Thursday, October 9th. He was cited for felony probation violation and has been released under a secured bond of $10,000. Ortiz was convicted in April for felony second-degree exploitation of a minor in Alexander County. He was given a 36 month suspended sentence.
