Alexander County Man Jailed For Felony Probation

Lawrence Christopher Ikerd, age 33 of Hiddenite, was taken into custody Wednesday evening by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was served warrants for two-counts of felony probation violation. He remains in the county detention center as of earlier today with bond set at $20,000.

Ikered was convicted of felony larceny by employee and felony obtaining property by false pretense in December, 2024. He was given a 36-month suspended sentence at that time.

A court date for April 21st is scheduled.
