Alexander County Man Jailed Again

31-year old Jason Tyler Dover of Hiddenite was arrested on Monday, September 18th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office after violating a court order. He was charged after allegedly tampering with his court ordered electronic monitoring device and placed in the Alexander County Jail with a bond of $5,000. As of earlier today, Dover remained in custody.

Dover has a long list of pending charges awaiting trial. In August, Dover was charged with simple assault and violation of a court order. Other charges include felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree trespass, damage to real property, resisting arrest and along list of traffic related charges that include driving with license revoked.
