Eric Carrol Parker, 64 of Taylorsville pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact to murder in the death of 51-year-old Phelifia Michelle Marlow. Parker received a prison sentence of 48 to 70 months (4 years to nearly 6 years) in Catawba County Superior Court on Tuesday. Parker has already served roughly 2.5 years in jail.
His wife, Tangela Parker, 52, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Sept. 28. She was sentenced to 241 to 300 months in prison, which is roughly 20 to 25 years.Tangela Parker shot and killed Marlow on Jan. 13, 2021. The shooting happened at TCS Designs. Tangela Parker and Marlowe had a number of incidents according to court testimony. Parker had been suspended at one time as the result.
After the shooting, Eric Parker took the gun from his wife and the couple left the scene. The Parkers were arrested some six months later by Federal Agents in Arizona.
Michelle Marlow’s husband Justin Marlow has pending lawsuits against Tangela Parker, Eric Parker and TCS Designs.
