Alexander County Man Facing More Than Sixty Charges !

A man was arrested on Friday, January 25th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. 41Year old Jason Lee Barnes of Taylorsville was charged with seven counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and seven counts of larceny. A check of court cases pending against Barnes reveals he now has over sixty charges awaiting trial. Most of the charges are related to vehicle break-ins. Barnes was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000. He made a court appearance on Monday in District Court.
