Alexander County Man Facing Felony Weapons And Probation Charges

Devante Lee McCullough, 24 of Holly CT, Taylorsville, was arrested on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He has been charged with felony probation violation and possession of a firearm by a felon. McCullough is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $70,000.

The suspect entered a guilty plea in January, 2025 to discharging a weapon into occupied property. He was arrested on the charge in Alexander County on May 15, 2024. McCullough was placed on 24 month probation as the result of his plea.
