Alexander County Man Facing Felony Drug Charges

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year old William Herbert Pennell III of Hiddenite on January 4th. They charged him with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. As of earlier today, Pennell remains in the Iredell County Jail.

Pennell has a previous charge pending in Alexander County for driving with license revoked along with multiple other traffic-related offenses.
