Alexander County Man Charged With Forcible Rape

A Taylorsville man is being held without bond after being charged with rape on Monday.

Hickory Police arrested 34-year old Kory Alan Moore and charged him with two-counts of first-degree forcible rape and two-counts of assault on a female. Moore is scheduled to make an initial court appearance on Tuesday in Catawba County District Court in Newton.
