Duane Eric Carpenter, age 44 of Taylorsville, was arrested Thursday morning by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies following a traffic stop. Carpenter was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Alexander County Detention and released on an unspecified bond. No court date is available.
