Alexander County Man Arrested By Hickory Police

, age 43 of Taylorsville was taken into custody Friday morning by Hickory Police. He was served with arrest warrants from Alexander County on a series of failure to appear counts. Owens is reported to have missed court dates on charges that include felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, misdemeanor probation violation, possession of schedule III controlled substance, driving with license revoked and an assortment of other traffic related violations.

After his arrest, Owens was transferred to the Alexander County Detention Center and is being held under a secured bond of $50,500.
