A home in the Ellendale Community sustained damage in a fire on Friday.
Ellendale, Bethlehem, and Taylorsville Fire Departments were dispatched to 594 Willie McLoud Road around 3pm. A double wide mobile home structure suffered “significant damage to the kitchen and smoke damage throughout” according to Alexander County Deputy Fire Marshall Garrett Huffman. Huffman said the home can be repaired despite the damage.
No injuries were reported.
