Alexander County Deputies Charge Taylorsville Woman

Donna Lisa Porter, age 55 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody on June 28th by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies. She was charged with two-counts of assault. As of earlier today she remains in custody under a secured bond of $10,000. Her court date is listed for July 22nd.

Porter was arrested in February and charged with assault on a government official and resisting arrest. Those charges are scheduled for court on August 5th. A charge of possession of schedule VI controlled substance is also pending in Catawba County.
