Alexander County Deputies Charge Suspect With Indecent Liberties

A Hickory man has been charged with indecent liberties with a minor by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

37-year-old Cody Dwayne Hammer was apprehended on Wednesday. The incident dates back to July.

Hammer is being held under a secured bond of $75,000. A first court appearance is scheduled for August 18th in Taylorsville.
