A log-hauling rig overturned this morning in Eastern Alexander County.
The mishap was reported on Sharpe Mill Road. The driver of the truck was pinned-in the wreckage for a period of time. Alexander Rescue and EMS responded along with multiple fire departments.
The victim was airlifted to a regional medical facility with severe lower body injuries.
