A four-year old girl was killed in an ATV crash Sunday night in Alexander County.

Around 8pm, Alexander 911 dispatched emergency units to a location off Mtn Ridge Church Road west of Taylorsville in the Ellendale Community. According to Alexander County Sheriff Chad Pennell, a four-year old girl died as result of her injuries that happened on a private drive when the vehicle overturned. Pennell says the girl was riding with her mother at the wheel. The mother was not seriously injured.
