Alexander County Adds Another 20 Cases Of COVID-19 On Friday

20 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Friday in Alexander County. The Alexander County Health Department released the following information.

5,387 cases since the beginning of the pandemic

431 cases in past 14 days

239 cases in past 7 days

14 county citizens are in a hospital with COVID-19 associated symptoms

99 deaths have been confirmed since beginning of pandemic

Alexander County has a test positivity rate of 16 percent compared to the state average of 11 percent

40 percent of the county citizens have received 1 dose of the vaccine

36 percent are fully vaccinated
