Alexander Central’s Carter Named As Shrine Bowl Assistant

Alexander Central’s Butch Carter has been named as one of the assistant coaches for the 88th Shrine Bowl of Carolinas.

Carter has 156 wins in his head coaching career at Alexander Central and South Caldwell.

Scotland County’s Richard Bailey has been named as the North Carolina head coach for the game that will be played next December.  Bailey has been a head coach in North Carolina since the 2000 season and has posted 247 wins in his career.

Hickory High School’s Joe Glass was also named as a North Carolina assistant.
