Alexander Central 63 Porter Ridge 56
Taylorsville: Alexander Central pulled away in the second half and won a battle that featured 6 ties and 8 lead changes over Porter Ridge. The visitors led 25-23 at half but AC had the better of it leading 44-41 after three periods. Alexander Central led by as many as 11 in the final quarter.
Meredith Wike had 24 points and 10 rebounds for ACHS. Faith Burch added 10 and 12 rebounds. Addie Jack contributed 10 points. Kali Williams was the leading scorer for Porter Ridge (16-9) with 22.
The Lady Cougars are 16-11 and will head to #1 seed McDowell who defeated Mt Tabor 57-30.
