Troutman: Alexander Central won their fourth straight game beating South Iredell 11-1 on Friday. The game was called after 5 innings.
Laney Wike went the distance in the circle allowing 1 run on 2 hits.
ACHS scored a single run in the first inning and was up 6-0 after two.
Ava Chapman sparkled at the plate going 3 of 4 with 4 runs-batted-in. Kyla Hamby went 2 of 3 with a pair of rbi. Alyssa Chapman drove in a pair of runs.
Alexander Central is now 4-1 on the season. South drops to 1-3.
