Granite Falls: Alexander Central punched their ticket to the league tournament championship game with a shutout victory over Ashe County.
Grayson Anderson went the distance allowing 5 hits. Jaret Hoppes, Mason Chapman-Mays, Nathan Pope and Sawyer Chapman-Mays had a pair of runs batted-in each . Maddox Jack went 3-4 and drove in a run for the Cougars who improve to 19-6. AC will face Watauga in the Championship game on Thursday. Watauga advanced with an 11-10 win over South Caldwell.
