Taylorsville: The Lady Cougars blasted their vistiors Friday night at Central Park. Macy Law got the win going 5 innings allowing only 1 hit. Kyla Hamby pitched the final inning allowing 1 hit . Hamby was 2-3 at the plate with 3 rbi. Kensley Davis went 4-4 including a homer, she drove in 2. AC is 2-0 to start the season.

Mocksville: Alexander Central put on an epic rally coming back from down 7-3 at the end of the 4th inning and 9-3 after 5. The Cougars scored 9 runs in the 6th inning to secure the win. Sawyer Chapman-Mays led the Alexander Central attack with a 3-4 and 4 rbi night. Maddix Reese went 3-5 with 3 runs batted-in. The Cougars are 2-0 with both wins coming against Davie County. AC will play at Lee County on Saturday.

McDowell 65 Alexander Central 38
Alexander Central saw their season end Friday night in Marion. Undefeated and #1 seed McDowell pounded the Lady Cougars despite AC jumping out to a 6-0 lead. By the time the first period was over, the Lady Titans were on top 16-10. The McDowell press forced 29 ACHS turnovers. Meredith Wike led Alexander Central with 16 points and 14 rebounds. AC finishes the season at 16-12.
