Alexander Central 14 McDowell 2…5 innings

Taylorsville: The Lady Cougars won their 5th straight on Monday beating McDowell 14-2.

Macy Law got the win in the circle allowing 2 unearned runs in the game called after 5 inning due to the mercy rule.

Kyla Hamby went 4-4 with 3 rbi, 3 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Lainey Russell, Ava Chapman and Kenzie Church had a pair of hits each.

Alexander Central improves to 5-1.
