The North Carolina High Athletic Association rolled-out it’s second draft for conference realignment on Tuesday.
It’s another less than favorable proposal for Alexander Central. This time the logic is even more bizarre than the first draft ! ACHS and St Stephens have been shifted east to a conference comprised of all Iredell County Schools

It’s obvious that the committee is adhering to the requests from Catawba County to keep their schools united in one league

Schools have another opportunity to respond to the proposed conferences. The NCHSAA will accept feedback until Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 4:30 pm.
The schools which have additional feedback on the conference proposals will appear in person at the next realignment committee meeting in Chapel Hill, which will take place Feb. 3-4.
