Alexander Central Drops South Caldwell To Win NWC Tournament !

Taylorsville: The perfect season is over for South Caldwell ! Alexander Central pushed 8 runs across the plate in the 7th inning, all with two outs, and won another league tournament title.

Laney Wike went the distance for ACHS in the circle and went 3 for 3 at the plate. Ava Chapman and Kirstyn Herman both homered for the Lady Cougars. Freshman Kyla Hamby was 2-4 with 3 rbi and was tabbed as the Tournamnet MVP. Lainey Russell knocked in a pair of runs.

Alexander Central advances to the State 4A Playoff with a record of 19-4. South is 21-1 and will still possibly be the top seed in the West 4A Playoffs.

Congrats to Kirstyn Herman, Kyla Hamby (Tourney MVP), Ava Chapman, and Laney Wike for being named to the All-Tournament Team!!!!
