Alexander Central Drops Providence !

Taylorsville: The Cougars defeated the defending State 4A champions on Thursday at Bob Gryder Stadium. The visitors plated a run in the top of the first to see Alexander Central score four in the home half of the opening frame. Maddox Jack delivered a triple that brought home three runs for the Cougars. Sophomore Grayson Anderson got the win going 4.1 innings. He allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits. He struck-out 6. Alex Sloan finished the game for AC going 2.2 innings allowing only one Panther to reach base on a walk. ACHS improves to 6-4 and will host Watauga on Friday.
