The Alexander Central Cheer Team traveled to Ledford High School on Saturday to compete in the Piedmont Premier Regionals.
The team competed in the Varsity Non tumble Game Day division against South Caldwell and Mallard Creek. The team came out victorious and won their division. They were also Game Day Grand Champions of all Game Day routines.
Alexander Central won High Point Winner for the day, which is the highest score out of all teams who competed.
A total of 22 teams including Charlotte Catholic, Cardinal Gibbons of Raleigh, Cherryville, and AC Reynolds.
The competition team will be back in action on December 2nd at the NCHSAA invitational in Raleigh.
