Alexander Central Basketball Has Good Night At South Iredell

Alexander Central 59 South Iredell 31

Troutman: The Lady Cougars beat South Iredell for the second-time this season in a game they never trailed. Up 21-8 after the first quarter and 34-16 at half, AC dominated to improve to 7-2. Meredith Wike posted 16 points and Malayah Adams added 15 for the visitors. 10 different Alexander Central players scored. South (2-7) was led by Madison Schramm with 13.

Varsity Men

Alexander Central 54 South Iredell 37

Dillion Church led the Cougars off the bench with 18 points, Jayon Connor had 13 and Jaheim Redmond added 12. South Iredell had a couple two-point leads in the first quarter but the rout was on by half with AC on top 32-15. South falls to 2-7 while Alexander Central is 4-5,
