Alexander Central 8 South Caldwell 3
The Cougars picked up a huge win Tuesday against their bitter rivals 8-3. AC led 4-0 after the top of inning 3 to see the Spartans rally to make it 4-3. The Blue and Gold added a run in the 5th , 2 in the 6th and another tally in the 7th. Alexander Central out-hit South 8-4. The game was marred with seven errors, four by the Spartans. Jaret Hoppes led the Cougars with 2 rbi. JD Little went 2-4 with an rbi. Caleb Williams got the win. AC improves to 3-0 in the Northwestern Conference and 8-4 for the season. South stumbles to 1-2 and 6-4.
