Taylorsville: In a game that was back and forth early, the Lady Cougars pulled-away and led 19-10 after the first quarter. The rout was on ! Meredith Wike led AC with 27 points and 8 rebounds and Malayah Adams checked-in with 13 pts and 6 assists. AC dominated the boards out-rebounding the visitors 46-28. Freedom (9-13 and 3-5) was led by Kaitlyn Hagmann’s 11 pts. The win puts Alexander Central at 19-2 and 7-1 in Northwestern Conference Action.

A rough night for the Cougars against a very talented Patriot team. Freedom trailed only once early in the opening period and improved to 17-4 and a perfect 9-0 in league play. Kobe Johnson topped the Freedom scoring with 18. Kade Flowers led the AC scoring with 19 and Noah VanBeurden added 15. The Blue and Gold suffered their second loss in as many night and drop to 12-9 and 4-4.
