Hollar Wins 900th Career Game At Lenoir-Rhyne

Alexander County native Shenna Hollar won her 900th career game as the head Softball Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne as the Bears swept Belmont Abbey in a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon in Hickory. Hollar, in her 24th year at the helm in Hickory, has a record of 900-317-2.

Hollar is an Alexander Central graduate and a member of the Alexander County Sports Hall of Fame.

The Bears won both games of the doubleheader over Belmont Abby by scores of 10-2 and 10-0.

Lenoir-Rhyne is 12-1 on the season and will host The Bear Bash this weekend. LR will play six games against Lock Haven, Johnson C Smith and UNC-Pembroke. Action starts Friday with a 2:00 first pitch against Lock Haven.
