Two Men Arrested On Meth Charges

Two men from Georgia face felony drug charges after being arrested on New Years Day by Hickory Police. 49 year old Jeffery Ben Pavkovich and Christopher Lee Broome, age 45 are both from Gainesville, Georgia.

Pavkovich is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance. His bond is set at $750,000. Broome is charged with possession of methamphetamine and is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a bond of $25,000. Both suspects are scheduled to make court appearance today.
