Armed Alexander County Man Apprehended On Multiple Charges

Dakota Claude Bryant, 35, Hillside Circle, Taylorsville, was arrested after an incident that ocured overnight on Sunday.

Alexander County Deputies responded to report of a break-in at an occupied residence on Hillside LN near West Alexander Middle School. Bryant, armed with a shotgun was taken into custody and charged with:

Felony attempted first-degree burglary
Going armed to the terror of the people
Two counts of communicating threats
Injury to real property
Injury to personal property

Bryant was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $100,000.
