On Friday, February 27, Detectives with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, along with road patrol Deputies, executed a search warrant at a home located on Winford Road in Troutman. This followed a lengthy undercover investigation.

Chakiris Legeorge Ramsey
Ramsey was taken into custody during the search. Inside the home, deputies found MDMA (also known as Ecstasy), marijuana, marijuana wax, and several items used to make cocaine. They also found a firearm. Because Ramsey is a convicted felon, he is not legally allowed to own or possess a gun.
Ramsey was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where he appeared before Magistrate Stanley, who set his bond at $400,000 secured.

▪️Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
