Alexander County Deputies Make Tuesday Drug Arrests

Alexander County Deputies made a pair of drug arrests on Tuesday.

Chelsey Lynn Combs, 31 of Stony Point was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in custody without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on September 8th in Taylorsville.

Combs a list of previous charges pending from 2023, 2024 and earlier this year. The offenses include felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony trafficking opium or heroin, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in addition to series of misdemeanor counts.

Kirston Ashleigh Dawn Smith, 31 of Taylorsville was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in custody without bond. September 8th is listed as a court date.
