Margaret Robin Broyhill, age 58 of Winston-Salem, was taken into custody Thursday evening by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with simple assault. She is being held in the county detention center without bond. She has a court date scheduled for April 25th in Alexander County District Court.
