Hickory Police arrested a Conover woman Saturday on charges of assault on a government official. 24 year old Evangeline Nicole Lee was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Lee was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $4,000.
