A Morganton woman was arrested this morning on weapons charges in Catawba County. 20 year old Dontayzah Michelle Peterson was taken into custody today by Hickory Police. Peterson is charged with felony possession of a stolen firearm.. She was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $3,000 and will appear in court today in Newton.
