The Wittenburg Swim Beach in Bethlehem will be closed until further notice after lab testing showed increased levels of E. Coli bacteria in the water (most likely the result of recent heavy rains and runoff).
“The safety of our beach-goers is our #1 priority” according to a social media post.
The public will be notified when the swim beach can reopen
