Anthony Maurice Dandy
Anthony Maurice Dandy, age 39 of Wilkesboro, was detained by the Wiilkes County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, May 26th and charged with with assault with deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, and discharging a weapon into occupied property.
Deputies were called to the Wilkes Medical Center in reference to a victim being treated with a gunshot wound to their leg. The victim was treated and released. Dandy was identified as the suspect and is being held in the Wilkes County Jail with a secured bond set at $501,000.
The shooting took place on Winkler Mill Road.
