Wilkes Couple Charged With Felony Drug And Stolen Vehicle Counts

A man and woman from Wilkes County are facing felony charges after their arrest on Tuesday in Caldwell County.

32 year old Janifer Hope Leonard and 36 year old Scott Brandon West, both of the Traphill Community were taken into custody by the Caldwell County Sheriffs Office. Leonard is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. Wyatt was charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Leonard was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $25,000 secured bond. Wyatt’s bond was set at $15,000 secured. Leonard has a District Court appearance January 7, Wyatt’s District Court date is tomorrow in Lenoir.
