Mulberry Elementary School in Wilkes County will be closed today. Students will have a remote learning day because of one positive coronavirus test.
The Wilkes County Schools public information officer confirmed all individuals that were directly impacted by the situation have been contacted.
The facility will be closed to allow for additional deep cleaning, according to post on the school’s Facebook page.
The normal schedule will continue Monday with a remote-learning day for students.
